When did you first get involved with WBSA?
I began coaching with WBSA in Fall 2014.
What does your volunteer role entail?
I coach the U7 Pirates that my twin boys play on and the U8 Hurricanes that my oldest son plays on.
Who is your favorite sports team?
It's a toss-up between the San Antonio Spurs and the Dallas Cowboys.
What's the best book you've read recently?
The Screwtape Letters by C. S. Lewis.
What are your 3 favorite movies or TV shows of all time?
Braveheart, Seinfeld, and most anything on 48 Hours Mystery.
Where are you from originally?
Do you have any funny nicknames?
Bullfrog... popularized in Three Dog Night's "Joy to the World" in the 1970's.
What's your favorite restaurant in North Austin, Round Rock, or Pflugerville?
What do you enjoy most about working with kids?
I have deeply enjoyed getting to know the boys on our teams and their families. They each have a unique story and I love watching their soccer skills, character, and teamwork grow from season to season.
What are you up to when not helping the club?
Dayna and I spend time with our kids playing board games and at playgrounds in the neighborhood, and I work as Pastor of Student Ministries at the church I grew up in, Grace Covenant Church.
