We are very excited to be announcing a partnership that further differentiates WBSA as the most family-friendly youth sports organization in the North Austin, Round Rock, and Pflugerville areas. Starting IMMEDIATELY, every WBSA player can get FREE FOOD ANY NIGHT OF THE WEEK throughout the entire spring season at the Round Rock and Research Pluckers locations.
All you have to do is take your kids in their official game or practice uniforms. Here are the top 5 ways we'd encourage our soccer families to take advantage of this great offer:
1. Early Dinner
A lot of our families prefer to squeeze in homework and quick dinner before heading to the fields. This makes showers and bedtime easier after practice so that you can maintain your sanity and hopefully still have some down time with your significant other. Players can throw on their practice uniform and get a quick bite to eat just right up the road before practice.
2. After Practice Snack
For our parents of some of the older players, you may find that your child's metabolism is keeping pace with their growth in other areas. Even if we knock out an early dinner before practice, our kids are insatiable after running their tails off at practice. We plan to hop over to Pluckers after practices some nights for a cost-effective "2nd dinner" and an easy meal for the adults.
3. Post-Game Gathering
How often do your kiddos beg you to hang with a friend after games? Now parents have a great way to provide a free lunch for team's looking to celebrate a great game on the weekend. This is a great option for all our multiplayer families as well who often find themselves driving through somewhere between games.
4. Team Building Event
Our event coordinator Julie Goebel has a TON of great activities lined up for our families this season. Events like our RR Express night and Mt. Playmore social are a great way to interact with all our amazing members. For coaches and team managers that are looking for a way to help their players and families bond as just a team, coordinating a Pluckers night for your families is a great option. Maybe a Friday night team dinner with free food for the players?
5. End of Season Party
I almost forget to mention that Pluckers has graciously offered to provide food for our club-wide end of season event. Head out to Sauls / Willow Bend on the last game weekend of the season to enjoy activities like Bubble Soccer with a side of chicken wings!
